What Happens When You Call
In short
Ask for the survey recording before booking anything, because it is what makes a second quote possible without paying for a second survey. The call itself costs the household nothing: TrenchPoint is paid by the contractor who takes it, never by the person making it.
There is not much to it, and the parts that matter are the parts most referral services do not spell out.
When you call
We ask for your ZIP code and what the drain is doing. We check that ZIP against the areas our partner contractors cover. If someone covers it, we connect the call. If nobody does, we say so rather than routing you to a contractor who will travel badly or decline.
What we pass on
Your ZIP code and the problem you described. That is what a contractor needs in order to decide whether they can help.
What we do not do
We do not quote. We do not diagnose over the phone — a lateral is buried, and anyone who tells you what is wrong with it without a camera is guessing. We do not vouch for any contractor’s credential; every state page on this site sets out who licenses plumbers in that state and where to check, so you can confirm it yourself before work begins.
Get the run looked at
Tell us your ZIP code and what the drain is doing. We check it against partner coverage and put you through to an independent contractor who works that area. We do not do the work and you are never charged.
Before anybody excavates.A camera survey is a different instruction from a repair, and the order matters. Tell us what the drain is doing and we will route you to somebody who covers your area. No charge to you, ever. Anything else the plumbing is doing can be raised on that call too.
