TrenchPoint is a referral service, not a contractor. We connect homeowners with independent contractors. Contractors are required to hold whatever credential their state or municipality demands. Every state page sets out who licenses plumbers there and where to check, so you can confirm before work begins. We do not perform excavation or repair, we do not set prices, and we never charge homeowners anything — the contractors in our network pay us when we route them a call.

Calls are recorded, and we would rather say so twice

Calls to the number on this site may be recorded for quality and training. That is the one thing on this page we would not want anybody to miss, so it is at the top rather than in a final paragraph.

What the recording captures is the conversation: the ZIP code, what the drain or the line is doing, and the number the call arrived from. It does not capture anything else, because there is nothing else — this website has no form, no account and no way to submit anything in writing.

We hold no information about your property

A sewer lateral is a fixed feature of a parcel of land, which makes it the kind of thing somebody might want to keep a file on. We keep none. No parcel records, no line material, no depth, no camera survey results, no map of who has had what replaced.

The material-history dates published on this site come from municipal and trade records about manufacturing eras, and they are about products rather than addresses.

What we share and why we have to

We pass the ZIP code, the description of the problem and the number you called from to the contractor we connect you with. Without the number they cannot call you back, and an excavation quote is not settled in one conversation.

That is the only onward transfer. We do not sell contact details to anyone else, and we do not supply them to utilities, insurers or municipalities.

The website itself

Static pages. No cookies, no analytics, nothing loaded from a third party. Which town page you read is not known to us.

Deletion, including recordings

Email [email protected] with the number you called from and ask. That covers the call record and any recording of it. The number is the only index we have, which is why we need it back to find anything.

Before anybody excavates.A camera survey is a different instruction from a repair, and the order matters. Tell us what the drain is doing and we will route you to somebody who covers your area. No charge to you, ever. Anything else the plumbing is doing can be raised on that call too.
